# Getting Started

## Welcome to Conduit. Here’s how to set up your account and start making payments seamlessly.

### **1. Complete KYB (Know Your Business)**

To activate your account and unlock full functionality, you’ll need to complete KYB verification.

This process typically is completed in a few hours.

### **2. Access Your Account**

Once verified, it’s time to log in to your Conduit and explore the web app.

### **3. Add a Counterparty**

To send or receive payments, you’ll need to add counterparties.

To add a sender or recipient, [you’ll need to enter their details](https://support.conduitpay.com/article/managing-counterparties), including bank information.

Counterparties may need additional compliance information.

### **4. Make an Onramp or Offramp**

**Step 1:** Get quotes on the [Conduit web app](https://portal.conduit.financial/).

**Step 2:** [Make a payment](https://support.conduitpay.com/categories/payments) by accepting a quote and either depositing funds or withdrawing funds to your account or a counterparty.
