Understanding Balances

The Balances section of the Conduit platform allows you to easily view your available funds, manage your wallets, and perform key actions like deposits, withdrawals, and sending money—all from a single interface.

This guide walks you through how to use each part of the Balances screen effectively.

1. Overview of Your Balances

When you open the Balances section, you'll see:

You can initiate key actions in two places:

To successfully complete a withdraw transaction or an on/off ramp, it's important that the relevant counterparty (recipient or sender) has been created in advance. You can do this from the Counterparties section of the platform. If you're not sure how to create one, follow this guide.

3. How to Make a Deposit

  1. Click Deposit.
  2. The platform will show the deposit address for the selected asset.
  3. Use the copy icon to copy the address easily.
  4. If needed, use the dropdown to switch to a different asset.

4. How to Withdraw Funds

  1. Click Withdraw.
  2. Select the wallet you want to withdraw from (if not pre-filled).
  3. Choose a counterparty (recipient), or add a new one.
  4. Enter the amount and confirm the details.
  5. Submit the withdrawal request.

5. How to Send Money

From the Send Money option, you can initiate:

  1. Click Send
  2. Choose the type of transaction.
  3. Enter the amount and select the currency.
  4. Choose a counterparty.
  5. A quote will be generated with an expiration time.
  6. Complete the payment purpose field and upload documents if required.
  7. Review and confirm the transaction.

Once submitted, you’ll see a confirmation screen with the option to start a new transaction or view your history.
